I used to have two of the DVB-C rev1.3 (long) cards.
With the 0.9.4 DVB-driver it works out of the box. You have to patch
vdr-1.0.x though, because initialization of the volume control kills the
picture on the SCART connector. This no big deal, since volume control is
not supported for these cards (dunno 'bout rev2.1).
One of my cards (2000 PCB) was doing fine, the other one (1999 PCB) was
experiencing massive heat problems resulting in tuner instability. I have
returned the latter one to Siemens and sold the former at ebay.
Now I'm using DVB-S.
