Hmm, wonder then if the same is possible with the gpio IR support for my old 
BT878 card - the infrared only works when used with it's own (cheap and 
nasty) remote control...

It wouldn't be a problem to simply program a one-for-all with the Hauppauge 
RC codes, but there aren't enough buttons on the Hauppauge one! =)
