[vdr] dxr3 plugin apparently working well

I have set up a vdr system with a dxr3.  I hope to soon receive a budget
card and so I have set up the system as much as I can ahead of time. 
Thus, at the moment I have a vdr system with only one card - the dxr3.

I was having OSD freezes which is in keeping with the release notes for
the plugin.  However, this changed when I did a cvs update!

This could be related to the following entry in the dxr3 ChangeLog:

        Added patch from Michael Roitzsch <mroi@users.sourceforge.net> which fixes
        problem with SPU device hanging the em8300
        
I can't confirm that the plugin osd is fully working as I do not have
any vdr recordings and (obviously) can't watch live tv!  (Just as a
note, can someone give me a pointer to a recording in vdr's format I can
test my setup with?)
