[vdr] Re: too many Steps to stop active TIMER ?

If you want to delete the recording anyway, you could just go into the Recordings
menu and delete it. You will be prompted that the timer is still recording, and if
you confirm this, the timer will stop recording and the recording will be deleted.

I would like to add a typical use case here: You add a
timer and extend the recording time by 30 Minutes to be
sure, the recording is complete even if the program times
are delayed. Then you decide to watch the recording until
it has finished. But the timer is still active. Now you just
want to remove the timer but keep the recording.

In this case, deleting a timer in one step in the recordings
menu would be fine.
