[vdr] feature idea for vdr: letterbox plugin

hello list

I had an idea for a feature in vdr
could vdr generate two black bars in recordings or in live tv that u 
can adjust pixel by pixel in order to hide channels logos, ages rating 
etc.

Many movies on cable and satellite are shown on their original format 
with two black bars on top and bottom but very often you get in them 
channels ID and small signs which tells you for which audience the 
movie is advised.

that would be great to watch movies without those disturbance.


what do you think?
this could be named the letterbox plugin
