[vdr] outcommand error 1 / ARM crash / bad signal.

Hi,

I am experiencing problems with my new mainboard. (ASRock G Pro
sis650/652L)

When I tune to a FTA channel, the system is unable to show me a constant
and fluent picture. The symptom is like a really bad signal. Some time
the system plays properly during 20 seconds and then starts showing
nasty squares. Sometimes the TV screen turns black during 10~20 seconds.

Some ioctl calls using the DVB API end up with a ARM crash or just some
outcommand error 1. (not always) The problem is the same with these
driver version :
                                     DVB-cvs-20030102
                                     DVB-cvs-20030116
                                     linux-dvb.2003-01-08-ci-ll

As I took the DVB card out of my previous PC (which was running fine
with a p233) and put it in the new one (celeron 1.7).
Conclusion : it can't be related to any DVB hardware problem.

The hard drive comes also from the previous PC. My kernel version is
2.4.20.

I am wondering if there is a issue with the south bridge
(sis962L)....Does anybody know what problem it can be?

Regards,

Alx
