I believe the new channel.conf have an extra three :0:0:0 at the end, without which it doesn't appear to work. So just try to add the extra three :0:0:0 to the end of each line, and make sure the service ID at the end is unique. If you have two channels with the same service ID the weirdest things happen in the listing...

Old:
BBC-1:578000:I0C34D0M16B8T2G32Y0:T:27500:600:601:0:0:4171

New:

Don't worry about all those parameters behind the frequency if you're using satellite - they are for DVB-T ...

I am using satellite but I am woried about the :S19.2E: field that does not apear in the old file. It is just before the freq field.
