[vdr] Too many open files

Hello!

I tried to set some cutting marks on a today made recording, but it
failed. Cutting of some other recordings worked. Can someone please
explain to me the meaning of this log entry?

 ... vdr[1983]: playing '/video0/.../001.vdr'
 ... vdr[1983]: loading /video0/...//marks.vdr
 ... vdr[1983]: ERROR: /video0/...//marks.vdr: Too many open files

My system is vdr-1.1.16 on Suse 8.1 w/ kernel 2.4.18 and /video0
reiserfs and /video1 xfs, recently updated from Suse 7.3 kernel 2.4.10
and this /video0 only.

Is it important that it says: "...//marks.vdr" not ".../marks.vdr"?
