[vdr] RE : Re: VDR 1.1.x Lirc BUG

Thank you for your help,

With the vanilla release of VDR, everything is working well.

The problem came from the ElchiAIO Patch.

I'll have a look at it to find out what's going on.

I couldn't gdb it because there were no coredump, only a segfault.

By the way, I saw you developed the very good plugin prefer-channels,
will you patch it to make it work with vdr 1.1.22 ?

Thank you.

See ya

Hello Philippe,

What version of VDR are you using?
I found in the changelog of VDR, about issues with "gaps" feature:
2003-01-10: Version 1.1.21
- Fixed handling channels in the "Channels" menu in case there are
':@nnn'
group

Which is not related to what you described, but well ;)

Also, are you using "vanilla VDR" (without any AIO/patches)? It seems
that
there was some problem with some versions of the AIO.

Also, can you:
- copy/paste what is listed in /var/log/messages at the time of the core

dump
- run "gdb vdr <corefile>" in VDR directory, then type "bt" and
copy/paste
the results to the ML.

Thx,
Olivier.
