Bad. No wonder you don't get a playlist.

While seeing the empty list, go to a shell an type "ls -l
/mnt/cdrom". Anything?

Looks good so far.

This means either the scanning of the source failed or resulted
into an empty playlist (seems to be the more probable case, as
you don't see any entries before).
