[vdr] Re: Therotic question..



The memory is probably inside the ARM Av7110 chip. Thats the way most
smaller microcontrollers use memory. So to extend the OSD memory would
require an EXTENSIVE hack :) It's probably more likely that the Firmware
could be slimmed down to require less onchip memory and leave more for
OSD. The new Link Layer Firmware is probably a step in the right direction
as is removes about 50k of CI code fro the Firmware :)
