Hi Matthias,

sorry for the late response, but I cought a bad cold :(

Yes, I will look at it and, as a matter of fact, I already received a
patch a couple of weeks ago that implements DVD playback.

Concerning NTSC playback as PAL:
The problem is the sound. It will either have the right pitch but will
be jerkey and get out of sync or it'll be too low (-speed option).
According to the Mplayer developer A'rpi it's the way it is, at the moment.
