Uhm, yes, but ONLY if the Linux driver supports this
feature.  Can the Radeon do line doubling? This would
make the videocard interesting ;o))

You could pipe the stream into Mplayer or use kvdr, I guess,
but all of this won't let you use the OSD of VDR (DVB output
only; not counting debug mode ;o)).

Maybe getting a DVB 1.6 and running external hardware for
deinterlacing / line doubling would be the more reasonable
way to go, unless the linux drivers of the Radoen really 
support all that is necessary (don't know as I don't have a
Radeon).
