If you share the equipment you schould really buy an quad LNB. You wont get 
lucky with smaller versions.

Must be! I payed 79€ for a very good quad LNB and something aroung 80€
for a 80cm dish, ca. 30€ for 100m koax-cable plus 10€ for some f-connectors. 
May be you need something to mount your dish to a wall or your roof ca. 
25€. There you have a sum of ca. 224€ for a _really_ good equipment with 4 
cables and not just 2 and is not limited for future plans.
That are 56€ (1/4) for your partner and 168€ (3/4) for you + lets say 200€ 
for one DVB-s card.
Some prices are hard to remember, so don't blame me if the cable cost 32€. 
:)
And you can buy much cheaper hardware for example cheaper quad LNB, 60cm 
dish ...
