[vdr] Batch cutting / replaying

Hi list,

I'd like to know the status of the 'batch cutting' feature that has been
discussed here on the list some time ago.

The Idea was to have a small program (maybe a plugin) that do the cutting
job for multiple recordings one after another without user interaction. This
would be helpful for those who use VDR as a kind of 'buffer' to record
episodes of a series, cut advertisements and then transfer them to
conventional video tape.

Maybe a kind of 'batch replaying' feature would also be helpful for those
people:
Select some uncutted recordings (but with cutmarks set around the
advertisements), press a single button and VDR will play them one by one
with skipping the ads while replaying. This way, one wouldn't need the time-
and hd-space consuming cutting process.

Any work in that direction in progress? or even solutions already available?
