[vdr] Re: Watchdog timer expires during removal of a recording



Hello, Benjamin Harling,

this times can depend very much on the used file system!
Linux sometimes needs ages (on my smallest compu about 20s) to delete big files (2GB) on fat-partitions. ReiserFS just needs a second (same pc/harddisk/no dma).
ext3 should be faster than fat, too!
