I see you renamed the 'swap' stuff ;) Thanks...

I love the automatic concept of your plugin - hey, I'm lazy... However, I
still really don't know how to use it.. maybe instead of writing a whole
HOWTO, could you answer a few questions?

OK, my current terrestrial channels.conf contains about 30 lines like this:

TMF (TV):626000:I0C34D12M16B8T2G32Y0:T:27500:201:202:0:0:25728:0:0:0
BBC NEWS 24 (TV):754167:I0C34D12M16B8T2G32Y0:T:27500:640:641:0:0:4415:0:0:0

I'm not near a VDR machine now to try this, so that's really why I'm asking..

What is the minimum I could get away with? From your description, it would
seem:

null:626000:I0C34D12M16B8T2G32Y0:T:27500:0:0:0:0:25728:0:0:0
null:754167:I0C34D12M16B8T2G32Y0:T:27500:0:0:0:0:4415:0:0:0

With the only 'channel-specific' thing there being the SID - is this right? If
so, how does this really make the channels.conf much easier, since we still
need to manually extract the SIDs :)

Or am I misunderstanding, and does the plugin lock onto one 'transponder' and
get a list of all channels on that transponder, and of all other
transponders, then cycle through each of them?

Or... must I have at least one channel per transponder pre-defined in
channels.conf?

What's 'director mode' ?

Cheers and thanks for your hard work :)
