I've also experienced problems with Sat1, Pro7 and all other channels on
that transponder during the last 14 days or so. In fact, I've had strong bit
errors (as showed by the techpatch) resulting in distorted audio and video.
These errors occurred on all channels of that transponder and on no other
channels. However, after starting a recording, these bit errors went away.

In fact, it was a bit more complicated - I don't remember exactly what I
had to do to get these errors away, but it was basically only recording a
channel on another transponder, recording a channel on a second transponder,
finishing the recording on the first transponder, switching to a channel on
the Pro7/Sat1 transponder: voila, everything fine. The problem re-appeared
eventually and it appeared on _both_ cards (I've made sure that the
recording card (recording RTL) was once the first, once the second).

I haven't yet figured out what's exactly going wrong here, since just after
that I've installed vdr-1.1.30 and now vdr crashes regularly (looks like a
deadlock, only a kill -9 helps)! I hadn't time to investigate all this.

Ciao,

Tobias
