looks fine :)
As I don't have a bt865 I have no real experience with that kind of
DXR3, but it looks good up to this point ;)

You're the man! I now get an image, though it isn't really good. It jumps, has wrong colors and some things appear again as shadows. I will try some permutations of the module options and report back.
Well the most common Problem is a very green or a B/W picture. Some
people have reported that 2 colors are swapped (IIRC green and red)
This all can be changed with the Options when loading the em8300 modules.

The latest CVS is updated with a small readme that explains these options:

Yes. Unfortunately debian stable doesn't have the needed autoconf/automake versions. As upgrading them isn't fun, I left that option for later. (Propably I will by then switch to debian unstable.)
Never change a running sytem :)
