[vdr] Using vdr without any Satcable

hi,
what can i do to use the vdr-soft without connecting any cables (e.g.
koax Sat-cable).
I think, i should editing the vdr-sources, but where and what?
Now, vdr restarts if i doesnt connect my sat-cable. So its impossible
to use any plugins like mp3- or imageplugin.
I hope you can help me
