With the arrival of the two Xine plugins, if it's not possible now, then it 
will be very soon to use the EPIA-M enhanced Xine project to use the onboard 
MPEG2 decoder directly.  ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/viaexp/ ) 

As a consequence of this, if you only ever plan to watch MPEG1/MPEG2 material, 
then the M6000 is definately the one to go for.

However, if you will ever want to watch DivX/ MPEG4 material, then the extra 
CPU power of the higher-end boards may prove beneficial...
