[vdr] OT: How to use ffmpeg?

Hi,

I'd like to create a simple mpeg stream from a single jpeg file. I think, that 
ffmpeg should be the right tool to do something like that, but for any reason, 
I haven't found the right command line switches yet.

Does anyone have some experience with ffmpeg and knows how to achieve what I 
intend to do?
