[vdr] Re: Anyone running a DXR3 with BT865 successfully?

Hi

I've got a dxr3 with bt865, but unfortunately I haven't found any settings,
which would give me a stable picture.
With the settings mentioned below, the picture is stable, but split into for
quarters with great black lines going across the screen.

How important is the version of the kernel I'm running? At the moment I'm
running the original SuSE 8.2 kernel but I don't seem to be able to get it
working with any settings :-( I've tried all possible combinations of
"options em8300 dicom_fix=1 dicom_control=1 dicom_other_pal=1 use_bt865=1"

Thanks,
Rene

alias char-major-121 em8300
pre-install em8300 /sbin/modprobe bt865
post-install em8300 /usr/local/bin/em8300setup
options em8300 use_bt865=1
