Are there any messages in the syslog? I ask, because this could be a problem
with the ring buffer. Maybe you increase the buffer in recorder.c,
transfer.c, ... (make a grep to find all files). Another reason could be a disabled
DMA of the harddisk.
Have you tried another DVB-driver? Do you use hw_sections=1 or =0?
Last but not least: this is no problem of vdr in general... ;-)
