maybe it would be just easier / and more deterministic to support a list of subdirectories, which can be chosen from when creating/editing a timer !?I agree. That's one of the many reasons I created epg2timers in the first place. Of course, the code in epg2timers that heuristically determines the genre from the summary header is very simple and could be added to vdr easily.
