Hallo,

I am hopefully behind reading the postings - therfore I am posting now so
late.

I have just posted an AutoCutter script an hour ago that - for Future
recordings - it can take care of the "splited files" problem - and it does
that now with VDR 1.2.x.

If several Video Partitions are used it allways puts all the ???.vdr
(Video) files on the same Partition - it searches for the one with the
most space free.

The other files are - just like VDR does it - located on the first
partition.

If wanted - and if it works ? - I could also put the other files on the
same partition as the ???.vdr files and link to them.

The only problem I have at the moment is that I only have One Partition so
I can't really test this ;) 

Any feedback is appreciated.
