Hello Andreas. Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately it seems that I
wasn't lucky enough this time ;)
I tried to set the "picture properties hack", but I couldn't find the
entry in the setup menu (after looking at the code, it seems that I must
have a "PVR" card - which I don't). So I changed directly the setup.conf
to enable the "hack". I got this:
analogTV: 22:49:24 cAnalogtvDevice::SetChannelDevice(LiveView=0,
Receiving()=0, Receiving(true)=0), frequency=503250
analogTV: 22:49:24 Channel: TF1, SID=12003, 503250 MHz, SECAM
analogTV: 22:49:24 Video device: /dev/video0
analogTV: 22:49:24 Video source: 0:
analogTV: 22:49:24 NEW picture properties
analogTV: 22:49:24 setPictureProperties(fd=24) failed, 22:Invalid argument
analogTV: 22:49:24 setPictureProperties(20,14,16,15) FAILED (please
upgrade to V4L2!) - continuing anyway ...
So it continued, but I still got the message "cannot start transfer mode"
on my TV. So, It doesn't seem to be enough.
Any other idea?
In the meantime, I will try to test version 0.9.14 of the plugin which
seems to be the last one before major changes for PVR card...
Also, if anybody can provide me a hint on how to upgrade to v4l2 for a
Mandrake Kernel 2.4.19-16, I would appreciate it! (I didn't found the
kernel patch for 2.4.x kernel)
Thanks,
Olivier.
