[vdr] SVDRP and and plugins

Hello and happy new year,

I'm using the tvtv plugin for remote programming. The plugin polls the
tvtv.de server hourly.

Sometimes I wish to program timers starting prior the next tvtv update.
Because I must restart vdr to get the new timers, I would like to extend
vdradmin with an "update tvtv" command (or use telnet directly).
Unfortunately the SVDRP interface provides no way to trigger the update.

Now my question: Would it be useful and possible to extend the plugin
base
classes to allow plugins to register their own SVDRP commands? This
would
enable vdradmin to control plugins. If some users would like this
feature,
I could try to develop a patch for this.
