[vdr] Ad-zapping in the UK...

Is there a UK equivalent to the noad program which AFAIKS generates cut
marks at advert break boundaries? I know that some video recorders can
use some form of program delivery control to allow for late running etc.
so there must be some form of start-stop codes in the stream.

Are there any PDC codes in the UK DVB-T streams or are they only in the
analogue TV signals? Even just the beginning and end of a recording
would be handy!
