[vdr] Remote control gets really slow when tuning DD channels or playingDVDs - need help

Hello!

I have vdr 1.2.6 patched with the "Komplettpatch-1.2.6-E" from Dirk
(vdr-portal.de). And I got the dvd plugin from sven 3.4.0 rc-10.
Whenever a channel with DD audio is tuned in it gets ugly. The remote
control gets less responsive and the menus in VDR don't open as swift as
normally. It really breaks my nerves.
But, as always, it gets worse :]
Playing back a dvd, doesn't matter with AC3 or PCM, it doesn't even
respond any more. I takes ten times pressing  a button until it's
recognized. And menus are slow, even slower then after tuning DD audio
channels, too.
The picture itself and audio are fine, though.
I got an ASRock K7VM2 motherboard. My harddrive gets the hdparm
parameters '-u1 -c1 -d1 -S24', the dvd-rom '-u1 -c1 -d1'.
Any ideas are really appreciated
