This seems to be ok and the micocode should be uploaded.

Have you tried the cvs version with 2 patches fomr the ML?

Thats normal, because no microcode was uploaded.

Hmm... try the cvs with this patches:
em8300-cvs_hs+nb.patch.gz
em8300-2.6-update.patch.gz

The patches gives some rejects, but this is ok.... they should also work
with the 0.14 release of the
driver.
