Any further hints how to convert vdr to wav and what the entry in the
vdr menu does mean "Export as audio" (German: "als Audio Exportieren")?
I have to admit that my LinVDR distribution does only contain mplayer
but not mencoder.  (BTW: I've thought that this mailing list is inteded
for LinVDR discussion.  So please tell me if I'm bothering you with
to specific questions.)
