I haven't read the whole thread carefully (which I should have, of course,
before posting...) but today we hand a fairly nice snowfall here which
caused some of the more marginal channels to disappear. Zapping to such a
channel either froze the whole VDR or at best, made the whole thing behave
like molasses in January - with luck, you could zap to another channel with
1 min delay.
