does not sound very reasonable for me, audio annd video are muxed when
it comes from the transponder, a DECT phone should interfere with both -
try a tool (like pvastrumento) to have a closer look at the recording,
maybe there is no audio inside the recording at all (problem with
autopid, APID or DPID = 0)
