Hi list,
I'm trying to set up vdr plus analogtv plugin. I'm using VDR 1.3.3 and
ANALOGTV plugin 0.9.31. I have a DVB-S card and a WinTV Hauppauge
bttv-compatible card. I've installed bttv driver(maybe properly)so i can
watch analog tv by using XAWTV.
But, when i run VDR with analogtv plugin(bttv driver and dvb-ttpci
driver loaded)i cannot see anything. Starting KVDR all I can see is a

Green screen might indicate you are using Xv to display the overlay?
If yes try running kvdr without any commandline options or simply start xawtv -c /dev/video1 (or whatever device your DVB-S card uses) - does it show a picture?

If "m" does not show the menu it's likely not your channels.conf!
Is your driver compiled with av711x-OSD-support? Otherwise you wont see vdr's OSD anyway...
Thanks for answering..
I resolved the "green screen" problem, and now, starting VDR with the analogtv plugin, I can see the DVB's channels but not the analog ones..
I added lines for the analog channels in channels.conf and when I switch to one of this channels, i get in /var/log/message:

Mar 29 10:02:19 troy vdr[15514]: switching to channel 4
Mar 29 10:02:19 troy vdr[15527]: transfer thread started (pid=15527, tid=49156)
Mar 29 10:02:19 troy vdr[15528]: receiver on device 5 thread started (pid=15528, tid=65541)

(where 4 is the analog channel)
but all i can see is a black screen... this time the "m" key is working and i can switch back to dvb channels.
Maybe is the format of the lines in the channels.conf wrong?
I followed the README in the analogtv package and I know the frequency of analog channels in my country, but I don't know how to set some of the others parameters. Here is a line for an analog channel in my channels.conf:

ANALOG Chan:519250:B6C12D0:C:0:160:80:0:A0:612:0:0:0

I don't know how to set the arbitrary parameters... have they to be unique in the channels.conf?
And what is "SID - Service ID" (the fourth parameters from the end)? Reading plugin README i find out that i have to "link" this value(612)to the ChannelMap.h. But I don't understand the way i should do this.

I also tried to use the Composite Line In with the following line

composite1:1:B6C12D12:C:0:160:80:0:A0:65004:0:0:0

but without any results...

Thanks in advance
Vincenzo
