[vdr] keyboard control lost

I'm back.

vdr 1.3.6, vdr-xine-0.1.2 xine from cvs

I tried running once runvdr with the -d flag now it won't start up in
any other mode. When running as daemon I can't control it via keyboard
(no window focus).

Which config file tells runvdr to run as daemon?

Is there an easier way to control vdr-xine from the keyboard than
focusing the window?
