[vdr] Help needed with fresh streamdev/VDR setup

Hi all,

I'm setting up a new VDR installation on a system running Fedora.

I have two budget DVB-T cards, and one budget DVB-S card.
I intend to use the system as a 'headless' server. I'll pickup
the streams from another computer.

I've got the DVB modules all loaded and ready.
VDR and the streamdev plugin (0.3.0) have been built OK.

Problem is, basically:

[root@vdr vdr-1.3.6]# ./vdr -Pstreamdev
Segmentation fault

And in the logs, I see:

Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: VDR version 1.3.6 started
Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: loading plugin: ./PLUGINS/lib/libvdr-streamdev.so.1.3.6
Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: loading /video/sources.conf
Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: loading /video/channels.conf
Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: found 3 video devices
Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: initializing plugin: streamdev (0.3.0): VTP Streaming Server and Client
Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: setting primary device to 1
Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: device 1 has no MPEG decoder
Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: SVDRP listening on port 2001
Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: starting plugin: streamdev
Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: Streamdev: Server thread started
Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: Streamdev: No server components registered, exiting
Apr 8 22:22:21 vdr vdr[1933]: Streamdev: Server thread stopped

I suspect that streamdev is complaining that it hasn't been configured,
but how do I configure it? The instructions say to use the VDR OSD,
but I don't have one! :)

Would anyone mind sharing their various .conf files with me re. VDR
(setup.conf?) and streamdev? I could do with a starting point, then
I can tweak them as needed.

Cheers,

Richard.
