It's a brave person who runs CVS! Actually it should be fairly stable and 
a slightly less buggy than the last release.

If you switch to "MOO" what pops out onto stdout? Specifically the lines 
obeying the formats:

Selected device @%p (primary = %p)
Opened channel %s vdrurl %p transceiver %p

(the second may not appear if it couldn't get a device)

Does 0.0.11 do this as well? The behaviour changed between 0.0.11 and CVS
so that the -DSINGLE_DEVICE flag is no longer need. However, it should
switch channels on the main display and obtain the stream - certainly does
when using analogTV as an input.

If you select it again, does it then pick up the stream?
