[vdr] debug_osd & television

hello,

i'm running debian with kernel 2.6.6 with modular build DVB drivers.
When i compile vdr-1.2.6 with the option DEBUG_OSD=1 en start vdr then
i see the menu on my laptop but when i compile it without
DEBUG_OSD=1 and start vdr i won't see the menu on my television. This also
happens when i use the debian package. the keyboard works normal and i can
use the kbd for switching channels etc.

any idea?
