Hi,
I just tried it with 1.3.6 but compiling fails with:

player-dvd.c: In member function `void cDvdPlayer::DrawSPU()':
player-dvd.c:332: error: `IsVisible' undeclared (first use this function)
player-dvd.c:332: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only 
once for
  each function it appears in.)
player-dvd.c:333: error: `Draw' undeclared (first use this function)
player-dvd.c: In member function `void cDvdPlayer::HideSPU()':
player-dvd.c:340: error: `Hide' undeclared (first use this function)

I thought the patch is only necessary with vdr >= 1.3.7
With 1.3.6. the patch vdr-1.3.10_spu_01.diff fails
And what is mp3-0.9.0_vdr138_01.diff for ?
