[vdr] Great reception but no data on a NOVA-S

I've got three DVB cards in my VDR - a DVB-S (1.3), Nova-S and Nova-T.

If I select a channel on the Nova-S, the card tunes to the right frequency
and gets a lock, but there is no data received. If I use szap to check I can
get a signal, the output is obviously fine:

status 1f | signal 9ff7 | snr ba5d | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 |

status 1f | signal a012 | snr b9a9 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 |

Using dvbsnoop to return the frontend information for that card shows:
Basic capabilities:
    Name: "STV0299/TSA5059/SL1935 based"
    Frontend-type: QPSK (DVB-S)
    Frequency (min): 950.000 MHz
    Frequency (max): 2150.000 MHz
    Frequency stepsiz: 0.125 MHz
    Frequency tolerance: 32000
    Symbol rate (min): 1.000000 MSym/s
    Symbol rate (max): 45.000000 MSym/s
    Symbol rate tolerance: 500 ppm
    Notifier delay: 0 ms
    Frontend capabilities:
        auto inversion
        FEC 1/2
        FEC 2/3
        FEC 3/4
        FEC 5/6
        FEC 7/8
        FEC AUTO
        QPSK
        clean setup

Current parameters:
    Frequency: 1529.527 MHz
    Inversion: ON
    Symbol rate: 27.500000 MSym/s
    FEC: FEC 2/3

which doesn't seem to show any error either. But no data is received at
all - even dvbsnoop -s pidscan retrieves nothing. I'm a complete user - no
real idea of the inner workings, so I don't know where to start looking. The
only thing that strikes me as odd is that lsmod reports STV0299 as (unused)
whereas the frontend drivers for the other two cards are used. Of course,
the card has worked correctly in the past...

Help!

Iwan
