[vdr] OT: diseqc question

Hello,

Sorry to ask here, but I don't know where else to ask.

I am so happy with my vdr setup I don't need my standalone stb anymore -
infact, I am thinking of moving it into a bedroom.

I have a single LNB (c-band, but that should not matter). I would like
vdr in the main room to control the LNB for horizontal/vertical, but
pass the signal on to the bedroom so the stb can receive whichever
signal is currently available. I have a single budget card that has
only one input. My current setup has the budget card connected to the
output connector of the STB.

I guess a 'switch' or splitter that did the same job as the output
connector on my stb would be good.

The added complication is I am thinking about adding a Ku-band dish
sometime in the future. I would aim for a quad lnb, so I would need a
setup that can select any of the four ku bands OR the c-band dish where
voltage selects between inputs.

Any advise? On of the reasons I ask here that there seems to be plenty
of information available in German (which does not help me much!)
