[vdr] Re: How do you run vdr?



Where is your TV connected?  Does your dvb card have a tv out?  If
not, you will need to use a softdevice plugin to work with xine in
xwindows.  If you have a mpeg2 decorder card, you can use dxr3 plugin.

If your tv is connected to the dvb card,  and your dvb card is
configured properly, then you should see the onscreen display on the
tv when you start vdr.  It will initially as you to configure your
remote, or keyboard.
