as I wrote, I simply enhanced the existing Makefiles of each
plugin with -fPIC. Never realized that -O3 is not a good idea.
Anyway, my VDR runs very stable at the moment, but I will
take care about it when setting up vdr-1.3.13.
BTW, an extract from my make.conf:
CFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O2 -pipe" (gcc 3.3.4 20040623)
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"
It's OK, isn't it ;-)
