Thanks for your efforts. I updated dvb-kernel from CVS and tried that
timeout fix but unfortunately it didn't fix the problem... Sure it's better
than the CVS version with shorter timeouts but it still doesn't work better
than my previous experiments with increased timeouts. I'll try to play more
with the values in stv0297.c but maybe the problem is something else.
I've tried to increase every "timeout section" ("wait for...") in the source
code step by step to be able to successfully move to the next section but
sometimes even waiting 1-2 minutes isn't enough...
Is there any documents in the net that I could read to be able to understand
better how the tuning process and these drivers works? Studying the source
code doesn't help me much since I lack the basic knowledge of this whole DVB
system.
BTW, how can I change PWM values in the current driver? I managed to find
this:
http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2005-May/002276.html
http://groups.google.com/group/linux.kernel/browse_thread/thread/10cf2ff705f8fa33/386029401c82844c?lnk=st&q=pwm+stv0297&rnum=1&hl=en
But I can't find any pwm values anymore (moved to some other place?).
