Actually, there wasn't a build problem...  As I was working on the 
merged build, I came across this logic and did not know what to do with 
it.  I just continued on with the merge, and asked Johannes what I 
should do with this stuff...  I guess he took that to mean that it had 
caused a problem for me, where in fact it was only the fact that I didnt 
know what it's purpose was.

Anyhow, yes... We can add this to our Makefile, no problem.  If but a 
single person is using it, and it already works, then let's do it.

Oliver-

Please commit it to cvs yourself.  You have the same access that you 
used to have on dvb-kernel.  The only difference is the cvsroot.
