Hi,

for a few weeks I've some tuning problems with one channel. It's the
channel 7 which provides MDR, ARTE, NDR (+ MHP ?).

By default this transponder is searched at 192 MHz with dvbscan when
it is not mentioned in the initial tuning file. According to:
http://www.garv.de/dvb_t_programme.htm
this channel is at 191.5 MHz so I added this line :
T 191500000 7MHz 2/3 NONE QAM16 8k 1/8 NONE     # ard / rbb
and dvbscan can now tune to this channel. But it still tries 192 Mhz too
which failes.

jarada:/usr/src/DVB/dvb-apps/util/scan # ./dvbscan bln.xx
scanning bln.xx
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
initial transponder 191500000 1 2 9 1 1 2 0
initial transponder 522000000 0 2 9 1 1 2 0
initial transponder 570000000 0 2 9 1 1 2 0
initial transponder 658000000 0 2 9 1 1 2 0
>>> tune to: 191500000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_7_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_AUTO:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_8:HIERARCHY_NONE
0x0000 0x0009: pmt_pid 0x0384 ARD -- ARD-MHP-Data (running)

0x0000 0x000a: pmt_pid 0x03e8 ARD -- ARD-Online-Kanal (running)

and the failing one :
>>> tune to: 192000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_7_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_1_2:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_8:HIERARCHY_NONE
WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!!
>>> tune to: 192000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_7_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_1_2:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_8:HIERARCHY_NONE (tuning failed)
WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!!
>>> tune to: 177500000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_7_MHZ:FEC_3_4:FEC_1_2:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_8:HIERARCHY_NONE
0x0000 0x000f: pmt_pid 0x00f0 T-Systems -- WDR (running)
0x0000 0x0010: pmt_pid 0x0100 T-Systems -- Südwest BW/RP (running)

Is that a provider error since 192 Mhz is the wrong announced frequency ?
