OK well conversion for the ipod didn't work either.
Here is what I tried:
mencoder -of mpeg -mpegopts -oac faac -faacopts br=NN:raw -of lavf "The
Biggest Hits - Right Now.ts" -o "The Biggest Hits - Right Now.mp4"
MEncoder dev-CVS--4.0.3 (C) 2000-2005 MPlayer Team
CPU: Advanced Micro Devices Athlon 64 Newcastle,Winchester,San
Diego,Venice; Sempron Palermo (Family: 15, Stepping: 0)
CPUflags: Type: 15 MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 1 3DNow2: 1 SSE: 1 SSE2: 1
Compiled for Debian
89 audio & 203 video codecs
The br option must be an integer: NN
Exiting... (error parsing cmdline)
I am not at all clear what this means except that it seems NN is
expected to be a number. (But what this number is I have no idea of).
Also doesn't video for the ipod need to be correctly rescaled?
I don't think it can handle rescalling like this on it's own.
Can anyone advise?
