Hello all,
i do not get my Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T usb stick to work under debian linux. I sucessfully put in the modules
- dib3000-common.ko
- dib3000mc.ko
- dvb-usb.ko
- dvb-usb-dibusb-common.ko
- dvb-usb-nova-t-usb2.ko
as it is discribed here: http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB_USB#Hauppauge_WinTV-NOVA-T_usb2
and I put the firmware dvb-usb-dibusb-6.0.0.8.fw from http://www.linuxtv.org/downloads/firmware/ to my /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/ directory and put a link named dvb-usb-nova-t-usb2-01.fw in the same directory pointing on it.
Unfortunaly nothing happens. Not even the control led on the stick does anything. The /dev directory stays as it was before.
No new device /dev/dvb/adapter0/ - nothing.
The Kernel I use, is the 2.6.15-1-k7 taken with apt-get.
lsusb says:
Bus 005 Device 002: ID 2040:7050 Hauppauge
dmesg says:
usbcore: registered new driver dvb_usb_nova_t_usb2
What do I wrong? Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks, Peter.
