[linux-dvb] DViCO Fusion Dual DVB-T - Not sure what to try next

'afternoon all,

I have a Fusion Dual DVB-T card and, while I was able to get my old
Avermedia cards working with no hassles, I have failed dismally for
weeks with the DViCO card: I was hoping you had time to make some
suggestions, but feel free to ignore this, if that's
not the case.

My system is an AMD64 running SuSE 10.0, 2.6.13-15.13-default kernel.

I have read the LinuxTV Wiki, but have obviously failed to understand
something. Running lspci shows the card is present:

00:0b.0 Multimedia video controller: Conexant CX23880/1/2/3 PCI Video
and Audio Decoder (rev 05)
00:0b.2 Multimedia controller: Conexant CX23880/1/2/3 PCI Video and
Audio Decoder [MPEG Port] (rev 05)

But dmesg shows (I think) that kernel modules are missing:

dvb_pll: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
cx22702: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
lgdt330x: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
cx24123: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
zl10353: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
nxt200x: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
dvb_core: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
video_buf_dvb: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
or51132: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
mt352: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
cx88_vp3054_i2c: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
cx88xx: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
cx88xx: disagrees about version of symbol tveeprom_hauppauge_analog
cx88xx: Unknown symbol tveeprom_hauppauge_analog
cx8802: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
cx8802: Unknown symbol cx88_reset
cx8802: Unknown symbol cx88_wakeup
cx8802: Unknown symbol cx88_risc_stopper
cx8802: Unknown symbol cx88_print_irqbits
cx8802: Unknown symbol cx88_shutdown
cx8802: Unknown symbol cx88_core_irq
cx8802: Unknown symbol cx88_sram_channels
cx8802: Unknown symbol cx88_sram_channel_dump
cx8802: Unknown symbol cx88_sram_channel_setup
cx8802: Unknown symbol cx88_free_buffer
cx8802: Unknown symbol cx88_boards
cx8802: Unknown symbol cx88_risc_databuffer
cx88_dvb: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag.
cx88_dvb: Unknown symbol cx8802_fini_common
cx88_dvb: Unknown symbol cx88_call_i2c_clients

I downloaded the cx88 driver, but it failed to build:

/home/andrea/cx88-0.0.4+dvb/cx88-ts.c:644: error: implicit declaration
of function 'dvb_register_i2c_bus'
make[4]: *** [/home/andrea/cx88-0.0.4+dvb/cx88-ts.o] Error 1
make[3]: *** [_module_/home/andrea/cx88-0.0.4+dvb] Error 2
make[2]: *** [modules] Error 2
make[1]: *** [modules] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.13-15.12-obj/x86_64/default'

And, confused as to what the difference is in the functionality of the
cx88 driver and the v4l tree, I thought what the heck and downloaded
the latest DVB source tree and tried to build it as per the wiki
instructions, but failed again:

/home/andrea/v4l-dvb/v4l/bttv-input.c: In function 'bttv_input_init':
/home/andrea/v4l-dvb/v4l/bttv-input.c:333: error: void value not
ignored as it ought to be
make[5]: *** [/home/andrea/v4l-dvb/v4l/bttv-input.o] Error 1
make[4]: *** [_module_/home/andrea/v4l-dvb/v4l] Error 2
make[3]: *** [modules] Error 2
make[2]: *** [modules] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.13-15.12-obj/x86_64/default'
make[1]: *** [default] Error 2

I am totally lost! :-) Any ideas about what path I should follow to
gain enough clue to solve this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
 Tim.
